Good Monday Morning Everyonea couple of doctor/therapy appointments this morning so running a little late. Yes, the store is open today 11-7 on this Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday….. it was a great football weekend and glad to see the teams I picked moving on. Bucs/Packers and Bills/Chiefs Hoping everyone that plays a little cashed in some winning tickets. Speaking of winning tickets, how about that Mega/Power Ball Lottery. 76ers basketball was postponed last night vs the Oklahoma Thunder due to COVID-19 issues. Up next Wednesday night vs Celtics, but not sure Flyers are back on the ice tonight and tomorrow night vs the Buffalo Sabres. I’m thinking the Fly Guys should do pretty well vs them. The NHL will be wearing #22 on their helmets in honor of Boston Bruins Great Willie O’Ree and the Bruins will also be retiring his number 22 that will hang from the Boston Garden. Big fan of Mr O’Ree especially on this day of Equality throughout all of sports, but especially hockey Hope everyone had a great weekend and will enjoy better days ahead…..StaySafe, Strong, Positive and please Be Kind….. #thisfansview

🏈 Wildcard Playoff Football did not disappoint this weekend.
Biggest winners appear to be the Bills, Browns and Nickelodeon 💦
The Bills win a playoff game for the first time in 25 years, the Browns with a huge win over the Steelers, Steeler nation is not happy this morning.
And how about Saints head coach Sean Payton agreeing to be slimed live on the Nickelodeon Network if his team won. Good stuff !! Who Dat !!
And tonight the biggest game of the year, College Football Championship.
Heavily favored Alabama takes on Ohio State at 8pm on ESPN.
Who ya got Sean Waynant ???
🏒🏒 I had to switch back n forth as the Flyers had an exhibition game at 7pm, Orange vs White and the White team prevailed 4-3 even though the Orange team jumped out early 2-0.
My take away from the game was seeing Oskar Lindblom and Nolan Patrick back on the ice and look ready for the upcoming 56 game schedule.
Overall, the team looks ready to pick up after being bumped early in last year’s playoffs.

Good Morning Monday Birds now that was a total embarrassment for both Eagles fans and football fans around the world. We don’t know if the Birds could have won that game, but we do know Coach went out of his way to make sure they didn’t. Did he want Washington to win the division, does he dislike the Giants that much or did he really want to play Nate Sudfeld that much? Nate was last seen holding beers for Nick Foles and Carson Wentz on the Championship float. I still can’t wrap myself around this and Coach owes the fans a much better answer or maybe Jeffrey Lurie says that’s it, I’ve seen enough. Does the league get involved and what could the punishment be for this ?? I was ok with Coach coming back next year with a much healthier team and some new players, but after this I’m not sure. Flyers hockey is not far away to take my mind off the way the Birds season ended. Maybe Jeff Lurie needs to look at how the Flyers handled things, firing everyone just a few short years ago. But then again maybe Jeff Lurie is the new Jerry Jones. not the way I wanted 2021 to get started and I’m sure I don’t stand alone with all of this craziness….. Birds fans, can I hear from you ??

Happy National Bloody Mary Day Well, we made it to the New Year and our expectations are high that we can have a much better year then last, let’s hope so. Clemson vs Ohio State All State Sugar Bowl at 8pm Notre Dame vs AlabamaCapital One Rose Bowl at 4pm The 76ers put a beat down on the unbeaten Orlando Magic last night 116-92. Up next are the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday night. Carl’s Cards & Collectibles, Inc. is closed today to celebrate New Years Day but we are right back at it tomorrow with our normal Saturday schedule 10-5. I know many of you were in yesterday to purchase packs and boxes of trading cards to bring in the new year, Cheers to some big hits. Our Phillies have been pretty quiet, but not the San Diego Padres as they have traded for Blake Snell and Yu Darvish in the past couple of days. I guess they are going all in out West and taking a run at the Champion LA Dodgers.

The Birds have a lot of work to do this off season, as they were eliminated from any playoffs this year. We need to keep an eye on this, as Doug Pederson, says he will be back as coach, but I’m not so sure. It may be time for some change and it might come at his expense. That Cowboy loss on Sunday had to leave a bad taste in the owners mouth, that was humiliating to say the least. Fly Eagles Fly

As I said at the top, tomorrow night will be our last This Fans View show of 2020. It’s been a crazy year to say the least and we shared many a show with many of you to help us all get through these crazy times. We’ve had many great guests and have talked Philly Sports every Wednesday night and then some. We will recap our year and hope you can join us one more time in 2020

Not the Memorial Day weekend any of us want or need except to say Social Distancing is a must.
Let’s see how that goes on the OCNJ boardwalk.
I would have never thought the Jersey Shore would be up and running from where we were just a couple of weeks ago.

Parts of Pennsylvania are open just not in Delco where the blame game is due to all of the cases that have hit nursing homes. Sad state of affairs that a plan still has not been put in place for small businesses.
It would have been a great weekend to open barber shops, salons, restaurants and other businesses that mean so much to all of us. ❤️🤍💙

The days are confusing for all of us as we continue to fight to reopen our towns, Baby Steps. Let’s Go!
