3rd annual Customer Appreciation Day

Monday 3rd of November 2014

Saturday November 8th, we will host our 3rd annual Customer Appreciation Day. Three years ago when we started this annual event, we struggled with what exactly we would do for it since we make an effort everyday to treat our customers like family and continue to have the lowest prices. But this day would be so much more than that; it would celebrate our success as a store and all of the customers we have met along the way. Whether you’re a weekly, monthly or holiday customer, you have helped us succeed and for that we are grateful.

So on Saturday November 8th from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., be sure to stop by our store and help us celebrate you! Each customer will receive two free raffle tickets for your chance to win some awesome prices! If you’re interested in increasing your chances of winning, we will sell additional raffle tickets for $1 each or 7/$5.

Former Philadelphia Eagle Bill Bergey will also be on hand to help us celebrate! He’ll be in store from noon – 1 p.m. signing autographs for all of our customers and the first 50 customers in line will receive a free Bill Bergey autograph! Be sure to get there early! Additional autographs are $10 each.

Throughout the day, we’ll be surprising customers with giveaways; one of those winners could be you!

We want to start the celebrating a few days early! One lucky winner to comment on this blog post will win two tickets for the Thursday night (11/6) Panthers vs. Flyers game! All you need to do is comment on why you deserve to win these tickets! A winner will be chosen on Wednesday November 5th at 8 p.m. When posting your comment, please be sure to let us know who it's coming from and how we can contact you if you're the winner.

Please only enter this contest if you’re able to attend the game and tickets must be picked up in our store, 22 W. Eagle Road, Havertown, PA 19083.

I live, eat, and breathe for Flyers hockey. Days drag until puck drop @ 7:00. My day on Thursday would drag even more knowing I have tickets to the game but knowing I'd be leaving work and heading straight to the Wells Fargo Center would be amazing. Please pick me! Let's Go Flyers!!! Mike C.

There is nothing better than rooting on the Orange and Black!! Hockey is my wife's #1 sport, and she would love if we could take our daughter to her first hockey game, she is mesmerized by it on tv and had a blast at a practice, but I want her to experience the real thing! I'd love to see her in her little jersey cheering on the boys! Bill W.

The Flyers are the heart and soul of my household. Every night the puck drops we drop all our things to watch the Orange and Black! My dad has been rooting for the Flyers since he was a little boy and I have followed in his shoes. I am 17 and cant afford to buy 2 tickets for me and my dad to go to a Flyers game but I would love to give them to him as a gift, as his birthday is this Friday (11-7-14) Thank you so much for doing this amazing offer! I will be sure to spread good word about Carl's Cards and Collectables! :) Mike R

Kind of lame, and I don't expect to win, but worth a shot. Because I'll use them as an on-air giveaway on my sports show on Radio 1851, Saint Joseph's University's radio station. And in return, we'll cut a commercial to play for Carl's Cards until the end of the semester. (If I don't win, you should still contact me about a commercial haha). Nick M. As a retired Navy veteran, I have followed the Broad Street Bullies for the last 40 years but have never seen them in person. Even went to Chester High where the school colors were orange and black. Would love to see my team play live just once. GARY G.

I was going to say that when I move to Florida,I'd still be rooting for my Flyers or because Carl embarrassed me in Clearwater for wearing a Jeter jersey when they played the Yankees.Hey......it was Jeter! But give them to the guy taking his grandmother.......He just better take a pic of her at the game!.......Andy Smith

My wife's father was a huge flyers fan and recently passed away after a hard battle with cancer. We finally have a babysitter for Thursday. She recently said she would love to go to one last flyers game soon and root for the team like her father did. RIP Thomas Poole. - jarred Epright jarredepright@gmail.com

I have been to every home opener since the 1998-99 season. I love the feeling of excitement and anticipation that is in the air at that particular game. This year I plan to bring my son so he can experience that thrill too. I am a big fan of Carl's Cards and win or lose I love how the store honors the fans of all sports .Thanks- Dave Remshard. dremshard@yahoo.com
